Contract Award for Almondvale West Retail Park

Maxi Construction has been awarded a £3.5m contract for alteration and refurbishment works at Almondvale West Retail Park in Livingston.  The project is for the reconfiguration and alteration of Unit 1A, over-cladding existing facades of Units 2-5, internal subdivision of Unit 3 and associated external works, within the live retail park.

Almondvale West Retail Park

Works include:

  • demolition/strip-out
  • structural alterations and repairs
  • brickwork walls
  • structural steelwork
  • metal cladding including feature anodised cladding
  • shop fronts including signage, door systems and curtain walling systems
  • decoration
  • external works including drainage and hard landscaping

The project team includes MacKinnon & Co as Contract Administrator, Doig + Smith as Principal Designer & Quantity Surveyor, 3DReid as Architect, Stuart McTaggart as Structural Engineer and blyth + blyth as Building Services Engineers.
