Awards Success for Glasgow Women’s Library

The redeveloped Glasgow Women’s Library was officially opened to the public on 7th November 2015 by the Rt. Hon. Nicola Sturgeon MSP, First Minister of Scotland, who described it as ‘truly a national treasure’.

The library has gone on to win numerous awards including ‘Recognised Collections of National Significance’ status by Museum Galleries Scotland and Highly Commended in the Scottish Civic Trust – My Place Awards 2016.

The redevelopment project has been shortlisted for a Scottish Property Award, RICS, RIAS and Scottish Design Awards 2016.
