Education projects

Description of Works: Procured via Lot 1.1.4 of the Crown Commercial Service Construction Works & Associated Services Framework, this project was for reconfiguration and fit-out works to form new workshops and workrooms including electrical engineering, sheet metal, gas welding, joinery and construction workshops.

Works included:

• Downtakings/demolition
• Creation of booths of training booths for welding and electrical apprentices
• Office subdivision
• Concrete floor screed sealing and painting
• Mechanical & electrical works including new gas supply, lighting, heating, power and ventilation
• All associated internal finishes including joinerwork and decoration

Added Value:

• Tender stage value engineering to achieve budget requirements
• Works completed in phases to allow early access to key areas

• Local employment of attendant labour
