Refurbishment of Clermiston Primary School

Summary: External and internal fabric upgrade and refurbishment of operational primary school

Description of Works:

External and internal fabric upgrade and refurbishment works to an operational primary school.

Works included:

• Steel frame extension with flat roof, timber kit inner leaf with masonry outerleaf
• Doors & Windows (external) – overhaul timber and metal framed windows, installation of new timber windows and doors
• External Fabric Enhancement – clean existing wet and dry dash render systems, repair works to wet and dry dash render systems where required, new facing brickwork where required and painterwork
• Internal Fabric – plaster and concrete repairs to walls and ceilings where required, painterwork to all areas of the school, replacement floor coverings to most areas of the school including carpet tiles, vinyl and refurbishment of wooden floors
• Mechancial &Electrical – strip out and installation works associated with the provision of new toilet facilities including ventilation and boiler room upgrade
• Toilet upgrades – strip out and refit of all toilet facilities including IPS panels, toilet cubicles, associated floor, wall and ceiling finishes and decoration
• Roof & rainwater – strip off existing roof covering and replace with Mach One roofing system, repair or renewal of existing rooflights and skylights.
