Description of Works: This project, delivered with hub East Central Scotland, was for phased design, redevelopment and refurbishment works (1695m²) to 2 industrial units to provide office, warehousing and 5 starter units. One of the buildings was fully operational and the contract included sectional handovers and transfer of ownership.

Works included:

• Asbestos removal
• Demolition/downtakings/strip-out
• Utilities connections including water, sewer (4m depth on a busy road), gas, electricity and data
• Structural steelwork
• New metal external wall cladding
• New metal roof cladding
• Render repairs
• Insulated render
• Wall and floor repairs
• Acoustic partition walls
• Fire rated partition walls
• External and internal doors including roller shutter doors
• Mechanical and electrical installations including  power, lighting, alarm systems, data, heating upgrade, ventilation and new sanitary ware
• Vinyl and carpet tile floor finishes
• Painterwork including external walls, floors and internal walls
• Furniture and fittings including welfare pods, kitchen, toilet facilities and lockers
• External works included formation of access roads, car parking, ramped access to buildings, security fencing, hard and soft landscaping
