Description of Works:
Internal and external refurbishment works to the Grade B listed Haddington Corn Exchange, a community hall/venue.
Works included:
- Minor downtakings
- Strip and re-slate of the rear pitched roof
- Lead flashings
- Stonework repairs
- New rainwater goods
- New roof lights
- M&E Services including plumbing, power, lighting, data, fire alarm and ventilation
- New partition walls and wall linings
- Joinery works (floor joist repairs, new door sets and skirtings)
- Installation of new toilet cubicles and vanity unit
- Installation of new kitchen equipment
- Floor finishes included a timber sports floor, vinyl and floor tiles
- Decoration works both internally and externally
Community Benefits
- Donation of dried food items to local school breakfast club
- Social enterprise catering company catered site meetings
