External and internal refurbishment works to a 3-storey Grade B listed building to provide community space, office accommodation and artists’ studios.
Internal strip-out works
Structural works including the formation of openings in existing load bearing partition walls and installation of a mezzanine floor
Strapping, insulating and lining external walls and roof
Roofing works including lifting of historic roof coverings and repairing existing substrate, slate and lead repairs, formation of new roof light openings, new roof covering, rooflights and access hatch, new mechanical plant and roof edge protection
Timber window repairs and window replacement works including design responsibility for new windows
Masonry conservation works including render replacement and repair works to brick cills
Works to existing rainwater goods and drainage including repair where required and painterwork
New metal stud partition walls
Mechanical and electrical services installation including power, lighting, comms, alarm systems, passenger lift, air source heat pumps, ventilation, VRF system and Building Management System.
Fit-out works including suspended ceilings, floor finishes including vinyl and carpet tiles, decoration, kitchen and toilet facilities
External works including new entrance ramp, stair and platform, perimeter fence and bicycle stands
