Description of Works: Procured via the NHS National Services Scotland Minor Works Framework this project was for refurbishment works to an existing office building to provide student residence accommodation.

The completed facility provides 5 no. 4-bedroom flats with kitchens and bathrooms.

The works have created a new accommodation facility with increased energy performance.

Works included:

• Downtakings/strip-out
• New external aluminium secure door with access control
• Plasterboard ceilings
• Mechanical and electrical installations including power, lighting, fire detection, heating upgrade, water storage, ventilation and all new sanitary ware
• Insulation upgrade and plasterboard wall finishes
• Vinyl and carpet tile floor finishes
• Painterwork
• Furniture and fittings including kitchen and toilet facilities
• Insulated render to external walls
