Description of Works: The works involved the refurbishment and conversion of an existing building to form a new Visitors Centre within an established country park. The centre provides a reception area, exhibition area, shop, café and toilet facilities.

Works included:

• removal of existing finishes, M&E services and wall linings
• formation of new door openings and blocking up of some existing openings
• re-configuration of ladies and staff WCs and cloaks area to enlarge ladies WC provision and form accessible WC for staff
• internal doors and door sets
• new M&E installations including power, lighting, security systems and ventilation
• new floor, wall and ceiling finishes including rubber flooring, carpet tiles and ceramic tiles
• fixtures and fittings including reception desk and kitchen
• painterwork
