Description of Works:
Accessibility improvement works to the Grade B listed operational Ashworth Laboratories building, situated within the University of Edinburgh’s Kings Buildings campus.
Works included:
- Groundworks including excavation and drainage
- Formation of new entrance steps and ramps including Ashlar stone facing to steps and ramps
- Design and installation of glazed balustrading and strip light handrail system
- Natural stone paving
- Upgrading works to the entrance foyer including new entrance matting, refurbishment of timber doors and painterwork
