Description of Works:
Refurbishment and extension of a traditional former primary school building to provide a 445m2 community hub including office space, multi-purpose rooms, gym, showers and toilet facilities, kitchen and reception area.
Works included:
- Strip-out and asbestos removal
- Rot repairs
- Roofing works including repair and reslating of existing roof, single ply flat roof to extension and installation of lantern rooflight
- Replacement of PVC soffit and fascia
- Replacement of decorative feature fascia at front of building
- New black pvc rainwater goods
- Sash window replacement
- Masonry works including cleaning and repointing
- Groundworks
- Utilities connections
- Concrete floor slab
- Timber frame construction
- Composite cladding to external walls
- Timber alu-clad windows
- Internal partition walls
- Plasterboard and suspended ceilings
- Mechanical and electrical installations including power, lighting, solar pv panels, data, access control, alarm systems, heating, ventilation and air conditioning
- Fixtures and fittings include kitchen, tea prep areas, shower and toilet facilities with IPS, including 2 accessible toilets.
- External works include car parking and hard and soft landscaping
