Maxi to deliver multi-storey common fabric repairs project
Maxi Construction has been awarded a £3.7m contract from The City of Edinburgh Council for refurbishment works to May & Gunnet Court in the Muirhouse area of Edinburgh.
Works to the two 9-storey occupied residential buildings include:
- Replacement of 19.5m high glazed screens
- Replacement of communal fire-rated doorsets and associated making good
- Formation of new escape corridors
- New communal entrance doors
- Installing new dry risers
- Replacement cold water storage tanks
- Replacement backup generators in new external housings
- Replacement/alterations to electrical, communication and ventilation systems
