Maxi Caledonian Ltd announces 2024 financial results

The Group turnover for year ending 30 Sept 2024 was just under £105,000,000 with profit before tax of £3,597,000.

The current year Group results show Maxi Construction Ltd performing well again in the current year and this level of performance has continued into 2025.  Maxi Haulage Ltd profits have been under pressure from various economic factors, but trading has improved into 2025, and we expect this improvement to continue through the remainder of the year despite the difficult industry conditions.

In September 2024 Maxi Properties Limited was brought into the Maxi Caledonian Group, this company was previously a standalone company under common ownership.  Properties of Maxi Properties Limited were revalued in the year with a revaluation loss of £906,652 being recognised in the profit and loss account, the Maxi Caledonian Balance Sheet has been strengthened by the increased asset value.  We continue as a strong successful Group with no borrowings and making good profit and with large cash reserves.

Alan Miles, Managing Director of Maxi Haulage Ltd has announced his plan to retire in November 2025 after 29 years with the Company, during which he has achieved great success and growth. He will continue in a consultancy role, and we wish him a very happy retirement.

Group Deputy Chairman Richard Atkinson who has responsibility for the management of the Haulage division said that succession planning was in place to ensure the continuing successful management and growth of the Haulage and Warehousing business.
