Maxi Caledonian Ltd, the ultimate holding company of Maxi Haulage Ltd, Maxi Construction Ltd and Maxi Warehousing Ltd, has published its audited accounts for the year ended 30 September 2025.
Overall, the Group had a successful trading year with a turnover exceeding £106m and Group profit before tax of just over £5m, both increases on the previous year.
Maxi Haulage have experienced the challenges of poor trading conditions in the Haulage industry. While results are lower than desired, performance is considered satisfactory given the current industry profit pressures.
Alan Miles the Managing Director of Maxi Haulage retired in September after 29 years’ service and is retained as a consultant.
In the current financial period the company faces key issues due to the current situation in Iran, which has affected fuel supply and increased operating cost together with client logistic changes. The situation is under constant daily review to cope with the ongoing changing conditions.
Maxi Construction increased turnover during the year to over £21m with profits before tax of £3.5m. The results benefited from consolidation of completed projects and trading has continued successfully into the following year.
The Group continues its policy of maintaining strong management and financial reserves to cope with any issues which arise and allow us finance expansion. The haulage company continues to invest to maintain a modern and efficient fleet and facilities.
