Maxi Construction has secured 3 contract awards during the first weeks of 2010.

Work has started on the £0.7m Gracemount Nursery project for The City of Edinburgh Council, which involves the construction of a new nursery facility adjacent to Gracemount Primary School in Edinburgh.

Work is due to start soon on a £0.5m contract for Fire Upgrading Works to Care Homes for The City of Edinburgh Council.  This project comprises the installation of fire doors and screens together with the upgrading of fire alarm systems within 11 of the Council's care homes in Edinburgh.

Upgrading works at St Michael's Hospital, Linlithgow, will provide new wet room facilities throughout the hospital.  This project, for NHS Lothian, will be undertaken in phases to allow for the continued operation of the hospital wards throughout the contract period.
