Maxi builds relationship with West Lothian College
Maxi Construction was pleased to participate in the Employer Engagement Day with West Lothian College on Thursday 12th February 2009. The day was organised by West Lothian Chamber of Commerce with the aim of strengthening relationships between the College and the business community. It is hoped that the experience will help college staff to explore the key issues facing local businesses, see how companies operate and gain an understanding of their critical success factors.
David Murray, Curriculum Leader- Image, Beauty & Fitness Sector of the College, spent the morning at Maxi’s Head Office at Houstoun Industrial Estate, Livingston learning about some of the challenges the Company faces in the current economic climate. In the afternoon David visited 2 of Maxi’s current sites: Alterations and extension to Newcraighall Fire Station and the Re-fit of a Wholesale Supermarket and restaurant on Inglis Green Road, Edinburgh.
