Profile Information

Barry has been working in the construction industry for 20 years. Since graduating, he worked initially as a Site Engineer and has progressed gaining experience in a variety of projects to his current role as Construction Director.

He has a keen interest in people development and is enthusiastic to see individuals expand their skills and knowledge. Consequently, all training is monitored by Barry and driven by a redeveloped, ongoing training plan comprising specialist training as well as in-house coaching and seminars which he will often personally present.

With the responsibility for delivering all contracts, Barry is constantly reviewing procedures to drive the ongoing improvements strategy. He adopts a ‘hands-on’ approach to all projects with specific attention where required to facilitate delivery of key projects. As part of the improvements strategy, Barry is fine-tuning existing procedures to ensure compliance with the Investors In People standard.
